Who is responsible for your data

The Brisbane Kollection operates B. Budgeted and The Money Hub and is the data controller for personal information used to provide the planner. Paddle separately processes payment information under its own privacy notice.

Information and purposes

We process your email, authentication credentials, optional display name and timezone to create, secure and manage your account. We store the planner information you enter, including budgets, bills, goals, debt details, calendar entries and manually tracked savings, to provide your planner across devices.

We process subscription identifiers, status and billing-period dates to determine membership access and help with billing. Hosting and diagnostic services may process IP addresses, device/browser information, request logs and error reports to operate the service, investigate faults and protect against misuse. Correspondence you send is used to address your request.

We do not link bank accounts or move money. Do not enter full account or routing numbers; debt records accept only optional last four digits. If you upload a statement, its contents are sent to our extraction service to suggest transaction entries. The app does not save the original uploaded file; entries you choose to save become planner data. Extraction can be inaccurate, so review it before saving.

Legal bases

Where applicable, we rely on performance of our contract to provide accounts, planner features and memberships; legitimate interests to secure, maintain and troubleshoot the service; legal obligations for required business records; and consent where required for optional processing. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing.

Sharing and payments

We use Lovable Cloud and its infrastructure providers for hosting, authentication and storage, and the Lovable AI Gateway and its model providers for statement extraction. These providers process information needed for their services. Avoid including unrelated sensitive information in statements.

We share account and purchase identifiers with Paddle for subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing. Payment card details are entered in Paddle checkout, not in planner fields. See Paddle's privacy notice. Information may also be disclosed to professional advisers and authorities where legally required or necessary to protect rights.

Retention

We keep account and planner information while needed to provide your account. A lapse in membership does not itself erase saved planner data. You can request deletion or close your account. After deletion, limited records may be retained where required for tax, legal, fraud-prevention or dispute purposes; backup and provider-held records follow their applicable retention schedules. Information no longer needed will be deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to your local data-protection authority. Profile provides planner export and deletion controls. For other requests, contact The Brisbane Kollection through the business contact channel you used to obtain the service; identity verification may be required. Payment-data requests can be directed to Paddle at paddle.net.

Security and international processing

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including encrypted connections, authenticated access and owner-scoped access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process data in countries other than yours; applicable legal safeguards are required where international-transfer law applies.

Cookies and local storage

Essential cookies or browser storage support login sessions, security and checkout. Blocking or clearing them may sign you out or prevent checkout from working. You can manage them through your browser. This notice does not authorise optional advertising or marketing tracking without any consent required by law.

Changes

We may update this notice as the service changes. Material changes will be communicated where required by law.
